Financial Aid
Your personal resources for financing your education are not considered in the school's admission decisions. To be considered for financial aid, please submit your complete application package, including all requested supporting documents and the optional financial aid essay, by the priority deadline of March 1.
Accepted applicants compete for full and partial tuition waivers, academic scholarships and teaching assistantships. Your financial aid package may consist of one or more forms of aid. In recent years, 50 percent of the program's incoming class was awarded some form of financial aid based on merit.
In addition, the UT Dallas Office of Financial Aid works closely with all admitted students who have completed a financial aid application and who may be eligible for loans, grants or a combination of the two, based on need. Short-term loan programs are available for international students as well.
